The Christmas Parade date has been set!
The Annual Christmas Parade will be here before we know it and we wanted to go ahead and let you get it on your
calendar. Sponsored by the Fitzgerald-Ben Hill Co. Chamber of Commerce, it will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018. In case of rain the parade will be Saturday, December 8, 2018. If it should rain on the 2nd date the parade will NOT be rescheduled. Santa will arrive on the fire truck throwing tons of candy
Local businesses and civic organizations, in an effort to receive prize money, will build colorful floats.
This will be a timely and joyful coming together for all residents in the area.
This year there will be a $15 entry fee to participate in the parade. The charge is to cover the cost of the prize money and any other cost related to having the parade. Non-refundable Parade Entry Fee ~ NO REFUNDS of any kind.
Applications are available at the Chamber's office. We can also
email you one just call the Chamber (229-423-9357) and we will be glad to send it to you.
The Chamber encourages everyone to please use safety precautions during and after the parade.
