FEATURE: 2020 - 2021 Annual Fund Update
Thank you for your generous contributions to another successful Annual Fund campaign.

We capped off our Development activities with a re-imagined Non-Gala Gala, featuring a competitive and spirited Friendly (Family) Feud style game. 50 participants joined our virtual event, powered by Sporcle. The winning team, The Scholars, will receive gift card prizes just after the break. Congratulations to the Lunden's, the Battey's, and the Dion's (joined by the Earls Family)! Thanks to all players. Families and staff shared many laughs and smiles as we approach the end of this unique year.

We are pleased to announce the 2021 Friendly Feud raffle winners:

Raffle #1 - AHS Traditions Basket - The Blake Family
Raffle #2 - Balise Car Wash - The Lunden Family
Raffle #3 - GMS/Forum Supplies Basket - The Bertera Family

We will be announcing the Blake Head of School Day (a surprise day off for students during the 21 - 22 academic year) soon!
(Note: The surprise HoS day replaces a teacher professional development day.)

Thank you!

Reminder: AHS COVID Travel Protocols Remain In Place
Governor Baker recently revised the travel guidance for Massachusetts residents who travel out of state. Please note that Academy Hill is maintaining current restrictions. Any student who travels out of state overnight (or out of Massachusetts and/or Connecticut if they are a Connecticut resident) must wait until 4 days after their return and produce a negative COVID test before returning to campus.

We have preserved an excellent track record for health and safety in this pandemic year. Please remain vigilant and continue to care for others in our community. We understand that some of you plan to travel next week. Please understand that we will be enforcing these protocol.

If you have any questions, please review the AHS Re-Entry Plan posted to our website.
Reminder: Morning health screenings are required for ALL students prior to their arrival each day. Students will not be permitted to enter the school until their health screening has been submitted.

Parent Association News and Updates
The Parent Association is excited to announce its first-ever Spring plant and flower sale. We are using Flower Power Fundraising to bring this new fundraising event to AHS. Please check your student's Friday Folder for more information and a catalogue.

You may also view the Flower Power catalog and shop at our AHS Parents Association online store using the link below.

Please remember that participation in PA fundraisers is always welcome, but never mandatory. We raise funds to support special events for our school community including Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, Back-to-School gifts for students, and the Halloween Spooktacular. We also support social events such as the International Feast. We look forward to re-introducing many of these fun annual traditions in the coming months, and appreciate your support.

Please note that PA fundraisers are never used to support the instructional program at Academy Hill.
