Schools will be closed on April 19-26 for Spring Break
Important information for parents/guardians of 5th grade students:
In May of 2013, the Denville Board of Education voted to change district policy 5111 (Residency) and require that all students moving up to grade six go through a re-registration process. This process will help to ensure that the Denville taxpayers are funding free public schools for Denville residents only. Please click

L
ast Thursday evening, March 28th, Valleyview's ExPO students put on their fifth International Night Showcase. Through the generosity of the Foundation of Denville, visitors were able to feel like elite travelers and immerse themselves in the culture, cuisine, and climate of their chosen countries.
Spotlighting 28 countries, such as France, Lebanon, Guatemala, Brazil, Thailand, and Malta, and serving native fare like borek from Turkey, curry from South Africa, pierogi from Poland and the Ukraine, and samosas from India, tourists left with bellies full of delicious cuisine and minds full of educational and newfound knowledge.
Each country shared a game or activity indigenous to the country, and the crowd fished in Malta, played darts in the UK, made masks in Brazil, and took a swipe at the pinata in Guatemala. Prizes were plentiful, smiles were obvious, and a good time was had by all!
Congratulations to the students in the ExPO program, and thank you to the Foundation of Denville for your commitment to enriching the learning experience for the schools and the Denville community!
