Riverview School

Lakeview School

Valleyview School

When we began our journey of applying to be a National School of Character, we thought deeply about what that honor would mean. It would mean that our children have the foundation set for them to be available to learn and thrive. It would reflect our dedication to ensuring our students become responsible global citizens. This distinction would demonstrate our commitment to character development and meeting the needs of the whole child. We are beyond excited to announce that Riverview School received this truly amazing honor of being named a NATIONAL SCHOOL OF CHARACTER! We are so proud of our students and entire learning community! Go Rockets!

This award came with time, dedication, and hard work from every stakeholder including Denville administration, staff, students, families, PTA volunteers and other community members. We are thankful for all those that have been on this journey with us and will continue to be on this journey with us moving forward. Thank you and Congratulations!

This week we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week to share our gratitude for our amazing teachers. We are so grateful for the care and commitment they demonstrate for our students every day. We want to thank our wonderful teachers for their tireless efforts in getting to know each of our students and helping them to meet with success. Thank you, teachers! Riverview is so grateful for you! Thank you also to Mrs. Kallas who takes such great care of all of us. We appreciate all the she does for all of us each day! Happy School Nurse's Week!

Please look in our Friday Folder for many wonderful upcoming events this month. We are so excited for the Fun Fair on May 18 and look forward to seeing many of our Riverview Families there! It is truly a great experience! We are also looking forward to the PTA Book Fair on May 20 and 21. Other exciting events include the 5th grade LEAD graduation on May 21 and NJ Day on May 31.

Once again we want to congratulate our Riverview learning community on the amazing accomplishment of having our school named National School of Character!
