STONE TOWER MISSION:

To Seek & Save the Lost

November 28th, 2025

Hi everyone,

Lifting you and your family up in prayer during this Thanksgiving season. I hope you are staying warm and dry, and that you are able to connect with loved ones throughout the holiday weekend.

As mentioned previously, I will be at Lents this Sabbath (the final make-up Sabbath) and will be preaching on “Malachi: The God Who Never Stops Giving.” I will be back at Stone Tower on December 6, 2025.

Even while preaching at Lents, I remain fully engaged with Stone Tower throughout the week. We are making significant progress in the Nominating Committee

process and have been meeting about twice a week. Two Mondays ago we also launched our Teen Small Group Bible Study, which meets on Zoom every Monday at 4:00 PM. This group includes teens from Stone Tower, Lents, and even one of the teens who attended our Evangelism Series and is joining from Idaho. Please keep this effort in prayer.

Recent topics have included navigating social awkwardness, loneliness, and rebuilding friendships after seasons of isolation. It has been simple, honest, and very real.

On a joyful note, many of you may have seen photos from the Youth and Young Adult Sip & Paint event last Sunday.

Under the guidance of Alyssa Payne, one of our young adults who teaches painting, everyone created an Aurora Borealis scene. We originally capped RSVPs at 20, yet 26 attended and enjoyed food, fellowship, and a wonderful time together. One guest even brought her coworker and her hairdresser. Praise God for these connections, and thank you to our young adults from both Stone Tower and Lents who helped make this event a success.

A couple of important reminders as we look ahead:

a) If your department has any Board-approved events that you would like in the newsletter or bulletin, please let our secretary know and cc the elders or me so we can make sure the information appears in the right place.

b) We are beginning to build our 2026 church calendar so that ministries can support one another without overlapping dates. If your department has events you would like included, please meet with your teams and send your proposed dates and budgets to the elders or me by mid-January at the latest.

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. For His mercy endures forever.”
Psalm 107:1 (NKJV)

Prayers and Blessings!
