During this holiday season, we would like to express our gratitude for our learning community. It is a wonderful gift to be able to work in collaboration with so many amazing people. We want to thank the PTA volunteers for a fun Holiday Shoppe in which our students enjoyed holiday shopping for friends and family. It was a great time for all! Thank you to all our volunteers and vendors for making it such a terrific event!
Our Riverview Rockets performed beautifully during the Holiday Concert. The band and chorus helped us all get into the holiday spirit. We all enjoyed their wonderful performance. A very warm thank you to Mrs. Bertani and Mrs. Fries for helping our students develop their musical talents!
Our dismissal procedures are now broadcast live with an afternoon meeting that students can watch on the SMARTBoard. Our new dismissal incorporates having a time to reflect upon the day and ensures our students end their day in a positive and peaceful manner. The dismissal is broadcast live with opportunities to share special announcements and "ROCKET Shout Outs" that acknowledge students showing ROCKET behavior.
Mrs. Theodoropoulos and Mrs. Sardanopoli had the opportunity to join Georgie Badie's Kickstart of her new book,
Water is Here! During her announcement of her new book Georgie thanked Riverview for our support in bringing water to thousands in Burkina Faso. We look forward to continue to find ways to support the GeorgieBadiel foundation along with reading her new book.
We want to wish everyone a joyous holiday season. May the season bring much happiness, health and laughter. Happy Holidays!
