Chamber Board joins coalition opposed to Maine LD607
At their February 10 meeting, the Board of Directors of the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce voted to join a coalition of dozens of Maine business associations opposed to Maine LD607. This bill currently being considered by the Maine Legislature would increase minimum annual salary for exempt employees from the current 3,000 times the minimum wage to 4,500 times the minimum wage by 2025.
Our Chamber Board encourages you to educate yourself on this legislation and express your opinion to your local legislators if you are so inclined. Please click here to learn more.
