Chamber Gala set for May 20
Save the date! Make plans to join us for our annual Gala Awards Dinner as we celebrate and recognize those who have made extraordinary contributions to our region last year. Mark your calendar now for Friday, May 20 at the Samoset. More details coming very soon!
And, if you know of a business or organization celebrating a milestone anniversary (25 year increments) in 2022, we plan to recognize them at the May 20 Gala along side our 2021 honorees.

This year's Chamber Challenge will be a scramble format with interactive contests throughout the afternoon. You'll enjoy 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch, awards ceremony, goody bags for all players, and prizes. Open to the public.

Volunteers Sought for Kids Can Grow Program at Erickson Fields Preserve
Maine Coast Heritage Trust, a statewide land conservation organization, seeks volunteers for Kids Can Grow, a six-month comprehensive gardening program, teaching youth ages 7-12 how to grow nutritious vegetables, herbs, and flowers for their families in their own 3 x 5 foot raised-bed gardens at home using intensive square foot gardening techniques. Knox County Homeless Coalition Announces Partnership with Area Interfaith Outreach
AIO Food & Energy Assistance (AIO) has partnered with Knox County Homeless Coalition (KCHC) to administer food pantry services to KCHC clients. Previously, KCHC ran their own food pantry from their Rockport campus for the nearly 650 people in their care. Learn Modern Tapestry Weaving in Mid Coast Maine!
This spring and summer, At Home Modern Weaving Studio led by Bobbie Tilkens-Fisher, will be offering an array of tapestry weaving workshops as well as a weekend-long retreat in August. Workshops are open to all skill levels, and there will be a kid’s program as well.
