Chamber Auction is June 22
The Chamber is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a live and silent auction on Wednesday, June 22, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM, at Rock Harbor Tap Room in Rockland. Tickets will be $10 per person in advance; $15 per person at the door. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and drinks will be available for purchase.
Proceeds from this auction will support the Chamber's economic development and tourism promotion activities.
We are currently seeking items valued at $1,000 or more for our live auction and items valued at $100 or more for our silent auction. If you are interested in donating an item to the auction, please email jodie@healaccounting.com. Thank you for your support!

The Chamber is Hiring Seasonal Staff
The Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce is currently hiring for part time seasonal staff for our Information Centers in Camden and Rockland. Duties include greeting visitors and answering questions about local businesses and attractions, answering phone and email inquiries, preparing mailings, and restocking rack cards. Schedule would be 3 or 4 days per week, and includes weekend hours. Position available for immediate start, and season will conclude in late October. $15 per hour. Maine Sport Outfitters Grand Opening Celebration
Maine Sport Outfitters (MSO) recently announced that its new location at the corner of Main and Park Street in Rockland is slated to open on Saturday May 7, 2022. The Grand Opening Celebration is scheduled to get started at 9AM, featuring a ribbon cutting ceremony, live radio broad cast, numerous giveaways including an Old Town kayak and free hotdogs and drinks from 12 to 1:30 PM. In addition, 10% of gross proceeds that day will be donated the AIO Food Pantry, with the first 100 people to bring a non-perishable food donation receiving a free Maine Sport Outfitters water bottle.
