Chamber Auction is June 22
The Chamber will be hosting a live and silent auction on Wednesday, June 22, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM, at Rock Harbor Tap Room on 5 Payne Avenue in Rockland. Auctioneer Bruce Gamage will lead the live auction. This event is open to the public!
Tickets are $10 per person in advance (purchase by noon on 6/22); $15 per person at the door. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and drinks will be available for purchase. Proceeds from this auction will support the Chamber's economic development and tourism promotion activities.

Chamber Challenge Golf Tournament is June 24
Only a few foursomes left!
This year's Chamber Challenge will be held at Rockland Golf Club with a 1 PM scramble format featuring interactive contests throughout the afternoon. You'll enjoy 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch, awards ceremony, goody bags for all players, and prizes. Open to the public.
$125 per player or $450 for a foursome.

Did you know that the Chamber has beautiful, lighted, free-standing kiosks at the Maine Visitor Centers in Kittery and Yarmouth?
In addition to showcasing the 2022 Jewel, there is room on each kiosk to display 4 member brochures/rack cards - 4" x 9" max size; you must be a Chamber member and a Maine Tourism Association member. For just $225/year, your rack card will be displayed in both locations! We currently have 2 slots open in Kittery and Yarmouth, available now on a first come, first served basis.

Rockland’s Annual Summer Solstice Celebration includes a Street Party and a Dock Party
Rockland Main Street, Inc., produces the Summer Solstice Celebration in two phases: a fun, family event complete with food, games and activities, and dancing, along with live outdoor musical entertainment on Main Street, which will be closed to vehicular traffic from 4-7 PM. FOR THE 2ND PHASE – The Summer Solstice After Hours Dock Party, from 6:00-10:00 PM. This 21+ Adults-Only-With- I.D. event will have live music featuring RED HOUSE, and DJ Dan Miller, dancing, and a “cash only” bar at Journey’s End Marina at the end of Tillson Avenue, overlooking Rockland Harbor and the breakwater light. Children’s Summer Reading Program at the Camden Public Library
Sign-up is now open for the children’s Summer Reading Program called “Oceans of Possibilities” at the Camden Public Library. The program will kick off outside of the library on Thursday, June 23, at 10:00 am for ages 4 to 7, and at 11:30 am for ages 8 to 12. Participants will meet with youth librarian Amy Hand on Thursdays for six weeks to enjoy ocean-themed books, crafts, and special activities. More...

AIO Introduces ArtFeeds, a unique community collaboration
AIO has a long tradition of harnessing the talents and innovative ideas of Midcoast Maine’s creative community to make the connection between food and art. Today, AIO is announcing ArtFeeds, Artists-in-Action Against Food Insecurity, a first-of-its-kind collaboration with the community’s vibrant artists, Page Gallery and the Maine State Correctional Facility, to highlight AIO’s programs. Thirty participating well-known local artists, including Eric Hopkins, Meghan Brady, Colin Page, Barbara Sullivan, and Margaret Rizzio, will create their own bowl or work with a wooden bowl carved and donated by residents of the Maine State Correctional Facility’s woodworking program. An Opportunity to Support Meals on Wheels Fundraiser
Bingo Queen, an original play created by John Burstein, is being presented at the Camden Opera House on July 29 & 30. In addition to attending this fun, audience participation show, local businesses can further support Meals on Wheels by advertising in the program. $60 for a half page or $100 for a full page.
