Business Expo Registration Goes Live January 23
The ever popular Business & Community Expo
is scheduled for April 10, 2019 at the Samoset Resort. Chamber members, this is your opportunity to tell the community what your organization is up to, plus you can network with representatives from more than 100 business and non-profit organizations serving our region—all under one roof!

Booth registration will open to Chamber members on Wednesday, January 23 at 9:00 am via www.CamdenRockland.com.
You will need your logon credentials to select and pay for your booth.
If you need to be reminded of your User Name and Password, please contact  Amy@CamdenRockland.com . A separate reminder email will be sent to all Chamber members on Tuesday, January 22.

Support for Coast Guard members and their families
A message from the Coast Guard City Committee:
Donation collection centers have been set up at the Hampton Inn & Suites and Rockland Harbor Hotel. The City Committee has been advised by CO Shultz that these donations will be channeled through the Petty Officers Association directly to USCG Station Rockland/Boats.

Today is Application Deadline for Training Grant Pilot
to Tourism-Impacting Employers
Maine Department of Labor has extended the application deadline for the 2018 Youth and Training Grant Pilot Program for the Tourism Industry. This opportunity reimburses employers whose business services impact Maine's tourism industry, when they hire new entrants into the workforce. Reimbursement opportunity is up to $400 each, for up to four eligible new workforce entrants, for wages earned during the first 200 hours the individual worked between June 1 and November 30, 2018.
