Thanksgiving Dining and Take-Out in the Camden-Rockland Region
In addition to our weekly dining grid found in the left column of this newsletter, we have compiled a a list of member restaurants and other establishments in our region that will be offering Thanksgiving meals, from sit-down dining to a la carte curbside, and more.
Chamber's shop local campaign, Keep the Cheer Here, heralds in the holiday season

Chamber members are invited to add a free listing on our third annual 'Keep The Cheer Here" webpage, where viewers can find details about your holiday shopping hours, your special events, links to your online shopping page, and more!

"Keep the Cheer Here" is a centralized hub for local retailers and event planners to share their holiday tidings, which the Chamber will promote via local media and social media, encouraging people to shop local and celebrate local during this holiday season.

Chamber Gala is set for February 10, 2023
Scheduled for Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Samoset Resort, the evening will celebrate and recognize those who have made extraordinary contributions to our community this past year.
Nominations are now open for our 2022 Annual Awards, including the prestigious Community Person Of The Year award, milestone anniversaries, and a variety of other award categories to honor outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals. Nomination deadline is December 23. Natalie’s Winter Bistro returns
Camden Harbour Inn will once again add an alternative dining option to the already award-winning Natalie’s restaurant. The inn is offering bistro-style dining for the winter season with Natalie’s Winter Bistro. The Winter Bistro is available at the bar and our cozy lounge with fireplace. Natalie’s Winter Bistro is open Thursday through Monday from 5pm to 8:30 pm (last reservations). Open until mid-May; not available on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years-Eve and Valentine’s Day. PAWS Holiday Events are right around the corner
PAWS Animal Adoption Center in Camden invites the public to its series of events this holiday season. The online 50/50 Raffle for the Animals runs from Nov. 14th – Dec. 7th. The online Auction for the Animals event opens on November 24th at noon and runs through Dec. 4 with hundreds of items to bid on. The series of festive events culminates with the Tinsel & Tails Gala and Silent Auction on Thursday, December 1st at 5:30pm at 16 Bay View in Camden. More...

Salvage Sculptures by André Benoit at Rockport Public Library
During the month of December, the Rockport Public Library will feature a show of multidimensional mixed media art from abstract assemblist sculptor André Benoit. The display will showcase Benoit’s signature human and animal forms and iconic motifs created with repurposed wooden remnants. The Camden Conference, in partnership with the Rockport Public Library, will host James Wilfong for a presentation discussing international economic restructuring in a time of pandemic, war, and climate change on Wednesday, December 14 at 6:30pm. Director Heidi Nolan and her staff are working on final edits for the Winter/Spring 2023 Mid-Coast School of Technology Adult Education course catalog. UMA Rockland Center is offering an exceptional course, COM 104: Communication in Groups & Organizations, taught by the highly regarded faculty member, Steve Moro.
