What's Happening in Religious Education This Week . . .
This week in Religious Education, all our
classes are exploring interfaith connections during the holiday season. The Preschool class will hear The Trees of the Dancing Goats. K+ will hear The Christmas Menorahs. Our
11:15
3rd-6th graders will learn about winter holidays and create their own chalice to take home. Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education will continue for our 7th and 8th graders. Our High School youth will be playing games and enjoying a holiday favorites potluck.

Our thoughts are with Marcia Veldman and Mark Veldman and their families and friends; their mother died December 12 in South Bend surrounded by loved ones.

"Resilience: Indiana's Untold Story," December 18 at 4:15 p.m.
A video of "Resilience: Indiana's Untold Story" will be shown in the Meeting Room on December 18 at 4:15 p.m. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the food pantry. DVDs of "Resilience" will also be available at the event for $10 each.

Traditional Taiji Cancellations
The taiji class will not meet for two weeks over the holidays during the following dates: 12/24,12/27,12/31,1/3. Classes will resume on 1/7/2017.

Pictorial Directory Portrait Session Sign Ups Continue December 18
Come to the Commons on Sunday to sign up for a photo session in January or February for our new church pictorial directory. Please participate! Portrait sessions are free and will take about an hour. You'll receive a free 8x10 portrait and you can purchase more if you like. On weekdays you can sign up online by

ONE SERVICE REMINDER FOR Christmas Day and New Year's Day
We will hold one service only on
Sunday, December 25, and
Sunday, January 1, at
10:15 a.m. On
Sunday, December 25, there will be no childcare or Religious Education classes. On
Sunday, January 1, there will be childcare for little ones, but again no Religious Education classes.
