Gloria:  Music and Reflections
Unitarian Universalist Choir directed by Susan Swaney
Reverend Mary Ann Macklin
Join us for this special music Sunday with our full choir, soloists Jessica True, Sophie Krahnke and Jane McLeod, and a 13-piece orchestra. We will hear nine movements of Antonio Vivaldi's sparkling  Gloria.  Reverend Macklin will offer reflections regarding the fragile beauty of hope in unknown times. We will hear from our Green Sanctuary Task Force during a social justice moment and there will be baby dedications at both services.
What's Happening in Religious Education This Week . . .
Preschool and K+ classes will hear stories about the birth of Jesus. 11:15am 3rd-6th graders are learning about the importance of being present through mindfulness exercises. Our Whole Lives Sexual Education for our 7th & 8th graders continues. High school youth group will be "falling in love in 45 minutes," a group-building and getting to know you activity.
Lots of Visitors These Days
There are many new people visiting at our services these days, and we want to be sure they get a warm welcome. In difficult political times, we often see more newcomers who are seeking out a community of safety and reason. Please make a special effort to welcome people you don't know on Sunday mornings or at other services and events. It will make a positive difference for everyone.
