Spiritual Practices are set up for one more day in the meeting room ---  Saturday, October 15th  from  11am-1pm .  Come and take a moment to explore healing in your own way through the choices provided. Please use the courtyard door for entering.
Playground Work Day - Saturday, October 15th, 11am-1pm
Help us spread some mulch in the main playground and the childcare play area. Little hands are welcome to come help!

This morning, Reverend Sarah Voss of Omaha, Nebraska, will explore with us how the process of decision making about social and moral issues can be positively enhanced by concepts which are rooted in mathematics. Come join us in stretching our minds! Reverend McNeill will be here to welcome Reverend Voss, a UU hospital chaplain and former colleague.
What's Happening in Religious Education This Week . . .
Preschoolers explore friendship, K+ students learn about Universalist ancestor Clara Barton, 3rd-6th graders at 11:15 consider how to heal our world, OWL continues for registered 7th-8th graders, and our High School Youth Group will bake cookies for graduates.
Generous Donations for Crisis Response to Haiti
Thank you Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington members and friends.  We collected $2,592.25 as a result of last Sunday's special collection for the Haiti Relief fund in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.  Our funds will go to the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, which works with on-the-ground partners to meet the humanitarian needs of marginalized groups overlooked by other relief efforts.   Our funds will aid in groundwork for sustainable recovery from this disaster.  -Reverend Macklin
Help Feed Our Hungry Neighbors Coffeehouse on Friday, October 21
Everyone is invited to a Coffeehouse on Friday, October 21, at 7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  Suggested donation of $10 will go to support the Walnut Grove Food Pantry. Come enjoy refreshments, musical performances, and readings at this family friendly event. Advance tickets will be sold between Sunday services. Visit the Facebook event for more information.
New Directories Available
New paper congregational directories have been printed and are available in Room 204, upstairs.

Blanket and Coat Collection for Those Struggling with Addiction  LifeDesigns  Community Education Opportunities Class has placed a collection bin here in the Commons through October 28 to collect blanket and coat donations for the Indiana Recovery Alliance (IRA). For details see the October 3 Prologue.
