Annual Science Sermon: Reflections on 2018
Bridging the Known and Unknown
Reverend Mary Ann Macklin
In 1859, Sir Benjamin Brody stated, "In the pursuit of the physical sciences, the imagination supplies the hypothesis which bridges over the gulf that separates the known from the unknown." In this annual science sermon, Reverend Macklin will explore highlights from 2018 discoveries in the areas of human origins, environment, physics, math, astronomy, mind and brain, and technology. Per usual, there will be a 7th inning stretch! Music will include a band led by Nick Toth and Kathy Schick of The Stone Age Institute.

Our Folks...
Our comforting thoughts are with Judy Bennett who is recovering from surgery to repair a double ankle break and dislocation last week that took place while transporting heavy boxes. Judy is currently staying with a friend. Cards are welcome; send to Judy's residence. Of note, Judy's email and phone are proving inconsistent at present, in case you are trying to reach her.
Velma
Harrison is home in her own apartment now after Rehab in Bell Trace. She has caregivers during the day but is independent at night. She appreciates your thoughts, notes, and calls.
