Make Your Pledge for 2020-21 Today!
In lieu of a formal Pledge Drive this spring, we are simply asking everyone to recommit to the same pledge amount as last year.
Please let us know if you are willing to recommit the same dollar amount for 2020-2021 (our fiscal year is July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021) as you did in 2019-2020.
Below is an easy peasy link to help out. Oh, and some folks asked if it would be OK to increase their pledge. Yes, indeed.
Here's that handy dandy link to our online form:
We hope to have everyone's responses
by January 31.
Thank you! Update! Many thanks to all of you who have re-upped for 20-21 with the same size pledge as you made for 19-20. We appreciate your generous response. We are halfway there! We had 341 pledges for 19-20, and 174 of you have responded so far with your pledge for 20-21 by using the handy online form. We'd like to wrap this up soon, so please do click above to pledge the same amount for 20-21.
Many, many thanks!

Befriending Life
Reverend Barbara Child with Reverend Mary Ann Macklin
We look forward to hearing from Reverend Barbara Child this Sunday. Reverend Child retired from full-time Unitarian Universalist ministry in 2010. She is an Accredited Interim Minister and in the past served our Heartland District in various coaching positions. She continues to do short-term consulting work with congregations and ministers. She has served UUCB as sabbatical minister twice. These days she calls herself mainly a "writing fool," as she has multiple writing and editing projects in the hopper at any given time.

Our Folks...
Our thoughts and sympathy are with Molly and Brian O'Donnell, upon the passing of Brian's mother Lucille Galik O'Donnell on January 29, in California. A memorial service will be held later this spring for her, in Chicago.
Our thoughts are also with the family and friends of Peggy Bachman, who passed away January 30. A memorial service for Peggy will be held on Saturday, March 14, at 11:00 a.m.
We are also thinking of the friends and family of former member Don Halford who died on January 30.
Congratulations to IU Chemistry professor Martha Oakley, who recently received the 2020 President's Award for Distinguished Teaching.
Congratulations to IU Law professor Luis Fuentes-Rohwer, who was named a Class of 1950 Herman B Wells Endowed Professor.

Drop-in Childcare on Wednesdays, 6-8 pm
On Wednesday evenings, from 6-8 pm in Room 108, our caring childcare staff are here to offer free drop-in childcare (as space allows). Parents must remain on site, on the building grounds or in the building. Please use the Courtyard Entrance. We hope to provide a moment for parents to breathe deeply, have a cup of tea with a friend, or sit in silence before running children to their next event. When possible, the Meeting Room is available for quiet meditation. For more information about childcare, please contact our childcare coordinator, Hannah Worton:
