Hallelujah:  An Easter of Jesuses
Reverend Mary Ann Macklin
Reverend Scott McNeill
Reverend Emily Manvel Leite
I looked it up--some are of the opinion that the plural of Jesus is Jesuses.  Join us Easter  Sunday  when we will hear the voice of several Jesuses--from the musical "Godspell," the Rock Opera "Jesus Christ Superstar," and other sacred texts. Musicians will include Alain Barker, Sam Cusack, Olivia McDermott-Sipe, Amira Sabbagh, Shelley Taylor, a band from the IU Jacobs School of Music, plus the UU Choir!  Our Time for All Ages will include our spring Baby Dedication. And, indeed, we recognize that Easter is also April Fool's Day.  In this worship service we will celebrate April Fool's Day by being Fools FOR Love---opening our hearts to the loving gift of community and the greater love that surrounds us.   ~Reverend Macklin
It's About Community
Our Pledge Central booth will be open Sunday, April 1st, for your financial pledge to our congregation (2018-2019 fiscal year). As Reverend Macklin said last Sunday, " Recently, I was talking to a friend about our annual spring Pledge Drive which will culminate on April 14th, and I was lamenting about all the marketing and motivational fundraising materials we receive.  I said, very seriously, I wish I could just tell people "It's About Community." "Well, why don't you just say that?" my friend said. "OK, It's about community. It's about Seeking the Spirit. Building Community.  Changing the World."
Pledge Cards will be available in your Orders of Service and at the booth.
Parking Options on Sunday Mornings -
Please Don't Park on the Grass!
Our parking lot is often full on Sundays, especially at the second service. For those of you in good health and sure of foot, it would be wonderful if you could park on Jordan Avenue, or across the Bypass at Marching Hundred Hall (former Church of God), or across the street on the paved areas west of Fee Lane, to leave room in the lot for those who can't make the hike. This opportunity is especially helpful during winter weather. Additionally, please do not park in muddy or grassy areas within or neighboring the church's parking lot.
Our Folks...
Duncan Searle is now in Rehab at Meadowood,  Room 10. Visitors are welcome.
This Week in Religious Education

Roots and Wings (K-2) will hear Jesus' Parable of the Sower. Curiosity Club (3rd grade+) will explore The Life and Lessons of a Beloved Teacher.

Youth will attend 11:15 a.m. service as a group and are invited to come to the Jesus Christ Superstar LIVE event from 7:45-11:15 p.m. Easter night.
