Circling Back: Call Me by My True Names
Reverend Mary Ann Macklin  
Reverend Macklin will revisit the book of poetry "Call Me by My True Names" by Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh on Sunday. Along with musicians Steve Pollitt (flutes) and Kim Carballo (piano), a worship service of deep reflection and meditation will be created. During our time for all ages, we will have our beloved Age of Reason Ceremony where young, new readers are presented with a book by their parent(s).
This Week in Religious Education: Gratitude
World of Wonder (Preschool) will hear Round Like a Ball and explore our Violet UU Promise - Value Our Earth. Roots and Wings (K-2nd) will listen to the Taoist tale,The Farmer Whose Horse Ran Off, as they consider how we decide which experiences we are grateful for. Curiosity Club (3rd grade up) will drawn from our UU source of Jewish and Christian teachings as they learn about the Advent season. Our Whole Lives for 7th and 8th grade will NOT meet this Sunday.  High School youth group will meet 12:30-3:30 p.m., first in Room 210 to eat pizza then heading off site for some woodworking.

Keep Your Head and Heart Warm this Month -- Buy a Hat!
The Help Feed Our Hungry Neighbors Task Force will be selling hats between services every Sunday in November. 100% of all sales goes directly to running the Walnut Grove Pantry.  Each hat you buy represents 167 pounds of food for the hungry. 
UU Freethinkers Meet at 12:45 pm
The UU Freethinkers discussion group will meet this Sunday at 12:45 p.m. in Room 208 for an open and non-structured discussion of issues of social, political, and theological/religious concern.
We Need You! to bake for the Gourmet Galaxy
Please sign up this Sunday to let us know what you will donate to the Gourmet Galaxy at the 60th Annual Holiday Bazaar. Sign up sheets will be available before and after each church service in the Fellowship Hall. Donations can be dropped off in the Fellowship Hall on Thursday November 29, 6-8:00 PM. Be a part of our Gourmet Galaxy history and make this the best Bazaar ever!

Giving Tree Tags Available Sunday!
This Sunday and next Sunday, Giving Tree tags will be available in Fellowship Hall for anyone who would like to support a local child or teen in need or a local adult living with HIV. Gift requests are available from $5 and up and includes some where gently used donations would be welcome. Gifts will be collected during our Procession of Giving services on  Sunday, December 2. Bazaar November 30 and December 1
      The Bazaar needs your help in all areas. Sign up for a volunteer shift of 2-3 hours at or on Sunday at church . Also needed are baked goods, like breads, pies, cakes, and cookies. If you can donate a pot of soup, please e-mail Marlin Howard at . Friday night lasagna dinner tickets and persimmon pulp will be on sale between services Sunday.

Buy Grocery Cards on Sunday and Support the Church
We have grocery gift cards for sale in the Commons every Sunday between services. Participating grocery stores send a percentage of your purchases back to the church to support our operating budget. We have gift cards for Fresh Thyme, Bloomingfoods, and Lucky's, and you can register your Kroger Plus card by clicking here. Our new Kroger organization ID number is EW763.
Livestream This Sunday's Service
If you can't physically make it to church this Sunday, we invite you to join us via the livestream on our website. At the church we also have screens set up in the nursery (Room 104) and in Fellowship Hall, if you need to leave the Meeting Room for any reason but still want to watch the service.
