Attention to Traffic this Weekend
A friendly reminder that Bloomington is brimming with activities this weekend
that could impact traveling through downtown and campus
(
Lotus World Music Festival, Indiana University Bicentennial Celebrations, and Hoosiers Outrun Cancer, to name a few!) - we recommend using the bypass to get to and from church.

9:15 am and 11:15 am
Hide and Seek
Reverend Scott McNeill
Throughout all of the stages of our lives, we play the game "Hide and Seek" most regularly. To be sure, there are few opportunities for adults to run and hide while others count down from 20 - but we hide (our identity, our stories, our needs) just as much as we seek (community, affirmation, peace, love).
Our choir and music theatre students of Sue Swaney and Ray Fellman will provide our gift of music, "You Will Be Found" from the musical Dear Evan Hansen, as we reflect on the idea that no matter where we hide we can be found when we open ourselves up to community.

This Week in Religious Education: Identity
Caring Connections
(Infants-3 years) will search for signs of fall as they play outside, create fall inspired artwork, and share stories.
*World of Wonder
(Preschool) will investigate evolution through the story of Grandmother Fish.
*Roots and Wings
(K+ 9:15 am, K-2nd grade 11:15 am) will hear The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore as they engage with our Green UU Promise: Grow by seeking what is true and right in life. This story is a celebration of each of our unique life stories, and children will be invited to write a little book about themselves.
*It's Visiting Day in our Spirit Play Classrooms!
Please come by right after the service so your child can show you around the classroom.
Curiosity Club
(11:15 am, 3rd-5th Grade) will continue their exploration of identity through art activities that encourage them to think about these questions: "What makes you, you?" and "What makes you, UU?"
Game Gurus
(6th-8th Grade) our dynamic duo of Margie and Drew Schrader will be hosting fun and games in Room 208 from 11:15 am - 12:15 pm with SNACKS! Jedi Academy will be back next week.
