Lasagna Dinner at the Bazaar Today, December 1
The UUnique Cafe of the Bazaar will be serving a Lasagna dinner this evening, Friday, December 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Price of the complete dinner with vegetarian lasagna, bread, salad and drink is $12 for adults and $10 for children.
Holiday Art Fair and Bazaar is Today and Tomorrow
The 2017 Bazaar is in full swing!  There is still time to come to the bazaar to check out the amazing offerings of the artisans, the cookie walk, gourmet galaxy, the cafe, the book sale and white elephants.  We could also use more volunteers. If you have an hour on Saturday stop by and find Ruellen, she'll put you to work. We also need help re-setting the Meeting Room after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.  The bazaar is open today  until  7 p.m.  and open  Saturday   9 a.m. to 4 p.m.   Bring your own shopping bag to help save the planet.

Celebrating Compassion
Reverend Emily Manvel Leite, Reverend Scott McNeill,
Reverend Mary Ann Macklin
In this story-based service for all ages, we will share Eve Bunting's beautiful tale "December" and will reflect upon the gift of compassion during this busy month. Our celebration will include drama, time for quiet reflection and seasonal singing, and a joyful parade as we collectively offer congregational gifts for people in need.
       For this special service, please bring a gift, if this is possible for you.  We are collecting:
       * Mittens, hats, and socks for adults or children
       * Toiletries, tissues, hairbrushes
       * Non-perishable food--proteins are especially welcome
       * The gifts you selected from our Giving Tree
       * "Golden Gifts" of cash or checks in amounts small or large to benefit the                      Unitarian Universalist Service Committee,   uusc.org
This Week in Religious Education
Children are encouraged to join us for our service this morning. Child care is available in room 108 for our youngest. 6th-8th graders are meeting at 11:15 to complete their planning for the Hogwarts dinner next week (see below). The high school youth group is assisting with the service and will then meet at 12:30 with a brown bag lunch to sort gifts and play laser tag with the ministers.
Giving Tree Update--Help Still Needed This Sunday
The Giving Tree has 5 tags left.  Stepping Stones still needs 3 vacuums, 1 personal carpet cleaner/steamer, a flat screen tv, and a tv stand.  If you have one of these items that is current and only gently used or are willing to purchase, please bring to The Procession of Gifts this Sunday, December 3rd.  Thank you!
