SJS Coronavirus Update
Dear Parents -

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this unprecedented event. We are working closely with the Office of Catholic Schools, Fairfax County Public Schools and the Health Departments.

Governor Northam announced this afternoon that schools will be remained closed until March 27. Distance Learning for SJS students will begin on Tuesday for all grades. Please check your email often for updates from teachers. Students are trained on Google classroom and have the skills to be successful distance learners.

The teachers and staff need the support and cooperation of all families to make this a successful experience. If you have questions, ask, and please be willing to work with us. Together we meet the needs of the children.

If you were unable to make either of the building access events today, students can access the building on Monday from 8:00-9:00am and again from 3:00-4:00pm.

Our goal is to "over communicate," so please watch for email, and social media updates, including the school mobile app. Going forward, the Office of Catholic Schools announced that for consistency and predictability, St. Joseph Catholic School will follow the closing announcements of FCPS.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

We've got this....
