Friday, March 15, 2024: Report Cards available for Gr. K-8 parents via Parent Portal in PowerSchool after 4:00 PM

Parents, please be aware that for some children, the only symptom of Strep may be vomiting; some children do not have any fever or no complaint of a sore throat. I would like to stress that if your child is not acting like themself or is exhibiting any symptoms of illness please do not just keep them home, self-treat, and send them back to school only for them to start showing symptoms later. 

When your child starts manifesting multiple symptoms, they have already exposed their classmates to their illnesses. As a result, the cycle of infection continues. 

We continue to do our part in school and ask for your support in controlling the spread of illness by keeping your child home if they are sick and taking them to their doctor for testing and treatment as appropriate.

The next Saints & Spirits is Monday, March 18th at 8:15pm at my home - 894 Station St, Herndon VA 20170 (thanks for your patience with scheduling in the new year!). For those who gave up alcohol as a Lenten penance, other non-alcoholic beverages will be available and I encourage you to still come for the fellowship and saint discussions.

If you would like to present on a saint and/or select or purchase a spirit for the evening, please let me know.

Please RSVP by March 13th if you plan to attend. Feel free to share this invite with others who may be interested, too (last minute additions are also welcome!).
