Auction Item Spotlight:
A day on the Farm with
Mrs. Rutledge and Mrs. Carson
Your child and three (3) friends will meet at Mrs. Carson’s farm in Leesburg for a picnic lunch. The children will groom George, the miniature horse, and have a carriage ride. They will have the opportunity to feed the sheep and chickens, gather eggs, and play with the dogs. Everyone will then create a farm themed art project and plant a flower to take home. Children with allergies should take into consideration that they will be around animals and hay.
Q. What should I wear?
A. This is a fun event and there is no pressure! We encourage you to wear whatever
makes you feel happy and ready for a fun night out!
We are still looking for volunteers to help sell

Spring Uniforms - April 8
Need new Spring uniform pieces? Thinking about next year? Get a jump-start by clicking on the information below provided by Flynn O'Hara!
(starting 2019-2020 school year)
Students will wear the Spring uniform starting on April 8!
We understand that the weather may be unpredictable in April!
Please know that if your child is cold, they may still wear the uniform sweater
over their Spring uniform.
SJS Track and Field
All St. Joseph Catholic School 2 nd to 8 th grade parishioners
(SJS, CCD, Home school) are invited to join our
Track & Field team for training twice weekly from
mid-Mar to mid-May as your schedules allow
such as practice days/times and how to join!
Dance Class @ HCC
Ballet Jazz Hip-Hop Age 5-9
The Herndon Community Center has partnered with St. Joseph Catholic School
in offering a Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop class!

Participants will begin to acquire the basic fundamentals and terminology for these
three dance techniques. Students will enhance flexibility, balance, and
strength and begin to develop performance skills. Click here for more details .
March Madness - Volunteers Needed!

**Volunteers are still needed to help with the in-school basketball tournament! Games will continue until April 12 ....and then the final!

5th - 8th Grade In-school Basketball Tournament
Starting 2/26 until 4/12 ....and then the final!
Time Slots slots are : 
7th grade - Tuesdays - 10:37 - 12:07
8th grade - Tuesdays - 1:37 - 3:07
5th grade - Thursdays - 9:45 - 11:15
6th Grade - Fridays - 12:45 - 2:15

Cheerleading Camp
Mark your calendars!
Cheerleading camp, coached by Miss Denneny and Mrs. Morrison, will be held the week of June 17-21 from 9:00am-12:00pm
in the gym. 
All rising 1st through 8th graders are welcome to attend!
Registration will open in April and a cheer spot will be auctioned off at the Spring Fling!
