St. Lucy Project
A message from the SJS Student Council:

The SJS Student Council is collecting food items
for the St. Lucy Project!
The St. Lucy Project is an organization that collects
food to be given to people in our community who
are in need. The collection will be from
Monday April 1st - Friday April 5th .
The students should each bring the item
assigned to their grade:

Kindergarten - Applesauce
First Grade - Jelly
Second Grade - Canned Meat
Third Grade - Beef Stew
Fourth Grade - Canned Tuna
Fifth Grade - Cereal/Oatmeal
Sixth Grade - Peanut Butter
Seventh Grade - Canned Fruit
Eighth Grade - Shelf Stable Milk

SJS, we need YOUR help to bring in the selected food to make this food drive great!
Annual Dinner and Auction - April 6
Auction Item Spotlight:
Incredible African Adventure for Two
6 days and 6 nights accommodation (standard room) for two people at Zulu Nyala Heritage Safari Lodge or Zulu Nyala Tented Safari Lodge (depending on availability), situated in the heart of South Africa's Zululand conservative region - one of the richest conservation regions in Africa. Package includes three (3) delicious meals per day prepared by professional chefs. Additionally, it includes two (2) game viewing activities per day, guided by professional game rangers in open game viewing vehicles on the Zulu Nyala Game Preserve.

Student Raffle Baskets - Sneak Peek!

The Spring Fling Student Raffle features 10 prize baskets. All baskets will be shown on the WSJS morning news show and on display in the cafeteria the week of April 1. Tickets may be purchased now through Wed, April 3 . On Friday, April 5 all students will receive one complimentary ticket, plus any purchased tickets, from their teachers. They will then put their tickets into the raffle bags for the baskets they hope to win! The drawings will be done during afternoon announcements on Friday and prize baskets will go home with the winners that afternoon. Students do not need to be present to win.

Spring Uniforms - April 8
Need new Spring uniform pieces? Thinking about next year? Get a jump-start by clicking on the information below provided by Flynn O'Hara!
(starting 2019-2020 school year)
Students will wear the Spring uniform starting on April 8!
We understand that the weather may be unpredictable in April!
Please know that if your child is cold, they may still wear the uniform sweater
over their Spring uniform.
