COVID-19 Reminders
| |
Per policy, if exposed to COVID-19 and asymptomatic, students may still attend school wearing a mask for 10 days and get tested on day 6 post exposure.
If symptomatic, post exposure, stay home, get tested immediately, wear a mask for 10 days. A pcr test is more reliable. If testing with an antigen test, a positive test is accepted as reliable but if you test negative, get retested again (pcr preferred) in 48 hours for accuracy since an antigen test is not always accurate.
If you have symptoms remember to stay home, follow SJS sick policy and test. The PCR test is recommended if you are symptomatic, if you test using the pcr test, stay home while you wait for your results before returning to school
If a student tests positive, stay home and isolate for 5 days, on day 6, if symptoms have improved and you've been fever free for 24 hours without taking any over the counter medicine, you may return to school wearing a mask for the remaining of the 10 days.
