Carpool Procedures - Reminders
|
|
Morning:
1.Please remember,
while waiting in the holding area, please turn OFF your car engines . This is for the safety of our children as they walk in front of and between cars.
Afternoon:
1. All sedan-type smaller cars line up closest to the school. There are 3 lanes allocated for cars. Kindly pull up safely and as close to the car in front of you (with enough room to walk through and clearance for opening trunks) so that we may accommodate as many cars as possible.
2. Larger and taller vehicles line up and park to the left of the smaller sized cars. The lines start at the orange cone. Why? This allows for students to find their car faster knowing larger cars are in the area closer to the church while shorter/smaller cars are parked closest to the school.
3. For the safety of all, please turn your engines OFF once you are parked. Kindly keep engines turned off until a faculty member gives the sign to start engines.
4. Please do not park past the last painted white spot. This prevents vehicles from getting to the van lines. We don't want carpool to turn into an obstacle course!
5. We ask that parents keep their younger children with them in their car or walk to Bready Park while waiting for dismissal. For safety reasons, we ask that children do not run around the parking lot, climb, or play with the statues and landscaping. There are many moving pieces during carpool and we want to keep everyone safe.
6.
As much as we love animals, please keep all animals at home or in your car.
