Dear Wrightsboro Family,

As we head into the weekend, I want to take a moment to invite you to worship with us this Sunday as we turn to Luke 9:51-62. It’s a moment of decision for Jesus—he sets his face toward Jerusalem, fully committing to the path ahead. It’s a reminder that discipleship isn’t something we can put off until the timing feels perfect. Following Jesus requires courage, intention, and trust—right now.

The sermon this week is called “Every Moment Counts.” Because the truth is, life moves quickly. We don’t always get a second chance to say yes to God’s call. Whether it's in showing kindness, offering forgiveness, sharing your gifts, or choosing love—every moment is sacred. Every moment has the potential to shape someone’s life, including our own.

Wrightsboro we are a church that shows up, that loves deeply, and we are leaning into what God is doing—right here and right now. If you’ve been wondering when to come back or when to invite someone, let me just say: this is a great week to do it.

God is moving. Come and be part of it.

FOOD PANTRY

This month's needs: cereal, peanut butter, can/box potatoes, can pasta, can fruit, and jelly.

The current hours for the Food Pantry are Wednesday 8:30 - 10:00, and Thursday 3:15 - 4:30. If you have food donations, please feel free to drop them off in the lobby. Suzanne is here at the church most days from 8:30 - 12:30. Thank you for your continued support of our Food Pantry! 

The Food Pantry received a grant from the Castle Hayne VFD.

God just keeps on multiplying those fish and loaves!

CHILDREN'S CORNER



Our children’s ministry at Wrightsboro UMC is vibrant and active! We have something for every child, birth-5th grade, and are excited about our various offerings. If you haven’t been with us in a while or just need the reminder below is some information related to our current in-person programming

• Children's Church happens during 10am service in the children's wing.

For those who continue to worship from home you can access some of our curriculum here in the Parent Portal. If you have any questions or would like to request additional resources please reach out to Hannah Nguyen our Children's Coordinator. Please email Hannah if you are interested or would like more information!!

Join us as we once again are able to laugh, dance, sing, play games and learn at LIVE IT OUT VBS!

Sunday July 6th- Wednesday July 9th from 5:30p-8:00p.

Dinner (as well as a snack) will be served nightly.
