Good morning, Wrightsboro Family!



I hope this week has been kind to you and that you’ve found moments of peace in the midst of all the busyness. As we move toward Sunday, I want to invite you to take a deep breath, pause for a moment, and remember that God’s love surrounds you—no matter where you are or what you’re carrying today.

This Sunday, we’ll be diving into Luke 13:31-35, a passage where Jesus speaks about his deep desire to gather God’s people together, using the image of a mother hen gathering her chicks under her wings. It’s such a powerful reminder that God’s love isn’t distant or indifferent—it’s personal, protective, and always reaching out to bring us close. And yet, we don’t always make it easy, do we? Life pulls us in so many directions, and sometimes we resist the very grace that is trying to hold us together.

So, I wonder—what does it mean to let ourselves be gathered by God? How do we step into the safety and love that Jesus offers? And what would it look like for our church to be a place where others can find that same sense of belonging and care?

I hope you’ll join us for worship this Sunday as we reflect on these questions together. Come ready to rest in God’s presence, to be encouraged, and to grow in faith as a community. See you Sunday!

BAKED GOODS NEEDED

To thank the teachers of Wrightsboro Elementary, the UM Women and the Hand in Hand Ministry are requesting baked goods for Monday, March 24. We would like items such as brownies, cookies, breakfast bars, and other finger foods. They can be placed in the fellowship hall on Sunday, March 23. On Monday morning, we will deliver these items to the school. Thank you for your help.

FOOD PANTRY

This month's needs: CEREAL, peanut butter, can/box potatoes, can pasta, can fruit, and jelly.

We are accepting plastic grocery bags.

The current hours for the Food Pantry are Wednesday 8:30 - 10:00, and Thursday 3:15 - 4:30. If you have food donations, please feel free to drop them off in the lobby. Suzanne is here at the church most days from 8:30 - 12:30. Thank you for your continued support of our Food Pantry! 

CHILDREN'S CORNER



Our children’s ministry at Wrightsboro UMC is vibrant and active! We have something for every child, birth-5th grade, and are excited about our various offerings. If you haven’t been with us in a while or just need the reminder below is some information related to our current in-person programming

• Children's Church happens during 10am service in the children's wing.

For those who continue to worship from home you can access some of our curriculum here in the Parent Portal.
