Dear Wrightsboro Family,

First of all, Thank you.

This week has not gone quite as I planned. I’ve been out of the office battling these stubborn kidney stones, and while I wouldn’t wish that kind of pain on anyone, I can honestly say I’ve felt surrounded by care. So many of you have called, texted, and checked in on me, and it means more than I can say. Thank you for being the kind of church that shows up with love in moments like this.

Even in my downtime, I’ve been preparing for Sunday’s message—and it’s a powerful one. This week’s Scripture is John 17:20-26, part of what’s often called Jesus’ “High Priestly Prayer.” It’s a moment where Jesus, knowing that his time is short, lifts us—you and me—up in prayer. The sermon is titled “He Prays for Us” because that’s exactly what Jesus does. He looks across time and sees you, and he prays that we may be united, full of love, and joined together in God’s glory.

There’s something deeply comforting about knowing that Christ prays for us—not just in the past, but continually, even now. And that’s a message I’m eager to share with you this Sunday.

As we gather this weekend, I hope you’ll come with open hearts, ready to be reminded of the incredible love that holds us together as a church family.

WUMC T-SHIRT ORDERS

Are you looking for a new T-Shirt? We will be taking orders for WUMC t-shirts.

Adult Sizes: Gildan – Softstyle T-Shirt, 90/10 Cotton/Polyester, Classic Fit, Narrow width, Rib Collar

                               Sizes: XS to 3XL: $15 Each

Youth Sizes:  Gildan – Softstyle T-Shirt, 100% Cotton, Classic Fit, Narrow width, Rib Collar

                               Sizes: XS to XL, unfortunately the company is out of Youth Medium:  $10 Each

Payment can be made at any time, but we prefer before June 13. Payments can be made at the church or online at the website under GIVING.

The shirts will be ordered on June 13 and we will let everyone know when they arrive for pick up.

FOOD PANTRY

This month's needs: cereal, peanut butter, can/box potatoes, can pasta, can fruit, and jelly.

The current hours for the Food Pantry are Wednesday 8:30 - 10:00, and Thursday 3:15 - 4:30. If you have food donations, please feel free to drop them off in the lobby. Suzanne is here at the church most days from 8:30 - 12:30. Thank you for your continued support of our Food Pantry! 

CHILDREN'S CORNER



Our children’s ministry at Wrightsboro UMC is vibrant and active! We have something for every child, birth-5th grade, and are excited about our various offerings. If you haven’t been with us in a while or just need the reminder below is some information related to our current in-person programming

• Children's Church happens during 10am service in the children's wing.

For those who continue to worship from home you can access some of our curriculum here in the Parent Portal. If you have any questions or would like to request additional resources please reach out to Hannah Nguyen our Children's Coordinator. Please email Hannah if you are interested or would like more information!!

LIVE IT OUT Vacation Bible School - Live and in Person!

Join us as we once again are able to laugh, dance, sing, play games and learn at LIVE IT OUT VBS!

Sunday July 6th- Wednesday July 9th from 5:30p-8:00p.

Dinner (as well as a snack) will be served nightly.
