C.A.R. continues to work with the State to implement a change in what is considered "essential" services to allow certain real estate activities to take place. This decision is now with the Public Health Department and no decision was made as of yet. C.A.R. has posted, "
While C.A.R. has asked the California Dept. of Health for real estate to be included as an essential service, all activities must be conducted under the parameters of the governor’s stay at home order. C.A.R. continues to provide guidance to our members ensuring REALTORS® follow social distancing mandates, as the health and well-being of their communities at large is of the utmost importance. While REALTORS® may not hold open houses or showings, they are able to continue serving the public by conducting as much of their business as possible virtually." NCAOR
will keep you apprised and will discuss with Brokers at their online Roundtable Monday at 9am.
to access the letter sent to the State Public Health Department on behalf of our industry urging them to modify "essential" services to include real estate services.
