FRIDAY WILDCAT NEWS
September 11, 2020
Greetings!
Our physical and virtual classrooms are a buzz this week with excitement and anticipation. Over the next few weeks students will build relationships with their teachers, reacclimate to a classroom environment, and establish daily routines. While things may look and feel different, Dallastown Area School District is committed to inspiring and creating pathways for student success.

We look forward to sharing many student successes this school year.

  • Motorists must stop at least 10 feet away from school buses that have their red lights flashing and stop arm extended.
  • Motorists must stop when they are behind a bus, meeting the bus or approaching an intersection where a bus is stopped.
  • Motorists following or traveling alongside a school bus must also stop until the red lights have stopped flashing, the stop arm is withdrawn, and all children have reached safety.
  • If physical barriers such as grassy medians, guide rails or concrete median barriers separate oncoming traffic from the bus, motorists in the opposing lanes may proceed without stopping.
  • Do not proceed until all the children have reached a place of safety.
UPDATED SCHEDULE: PUBLIC ACCESS TO WILDCAT STADIUM RESTRICTED DURING SCHOOL DAY
Beginning Tuesday, September 8, Wildcat Stadium will be closed to the public, from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. for use by our students during the school day.

The facility will be open to the public outside of these hours. While using this facility remember to practice social distancing, stay home if you’re sick, maintain at least 6 feet between other people, do not gather in groups, and avoid touching surfaces. The use of the facility will be at the individual's own risk.
BACK TO SCHOOL REMINDERS:
To allow guardians to quickly conduct daily health screenings, Health Services has developed a Daily Student Screening Tool to assist with symptom screenings and recommendations surrounding students returning to school.
