Utility Billing Office to Relocate in October
On Thursday, May 25, the City of Rowlett closed on the purchase of a building located at 6602 Dalrock Road, formerly a Chase Bank branch. I-30 Over Lake Hubbard to Close June 9&10
Weather permitting, all lanes of east and westbound I-30 will be closed at Dalrock Road from 9 p.m. Friday, June 9 through 8 a.m. Saturday, June 10. All traffic will exit at Dalrock Road and will be detoured to the frontage roads to avoid the construction area.
Dalrock Road will be closed at I-30. However, westbound I-30 traffic will have access to northbound Dalrock Road.

HOA Legal Clinic

Touch- a -Truck
On Monday, Schrade Middle School invited station 3B for a Touch a Truck event at their PD Summer Camp. It was a great time where the kids learned first aid, CPR, and fire safety. Thanks for having us!

This high engagement storytime is for toddlers and preschoolers who can actively engage and listen on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. While older siblings are welcome, we will focus on early literacy skills and practices. Wednesday and Thursday are repeats of Tuesdays' programs.

Alley Reconstruction: Eagle Dr, Linda Vista Ct/Eagle Dr, Teal Ct/Eagle Dr, & Teal Ct/Allen Ln
La Banda, LLC poured the pavement in the alley between Linda Vista Court and the church parking lot this week. The curb inlet in the Eagle/Linda Vista Court alley has been completed.

Alley Reconstruction: Rice Dr/Tulane Dr, Meadowlark Ln, University Dr/Knightsbridge Dr, & Sara Dr/Westwood Cir
Texas Civil Construction was unable to pour the remaining pavement in the Rice/Tulane alley due to the rain saturating the soil. Storm sewer installation for the Meadowlark alley continued and is making it’s way out into th street on Meadowlark.

Miller Road Paving, Drainage and Utility Improvements
Tiseo Paving Company’s utility subcontractor set the storm water manhole just west of the railroad tracks, which completes the 54-inch portion of the storm line. The grading subcontractor continued cutting and grading for the westbound lanes and made it to the northeast corner of the Miller/Chiesa intersection.

A & M Construction and Utilities continued installing the 15-inch sanitary sewer. They are almost to where the sanitary sewer will be bored underneath SH66 by the dry cleaners.
