Original Works is a program that turns kids’ artwork into beautiful keepsakes. Proceeds from this school fundraiser will go to support the St. Francis Xavier Art Department. Keep your eye out for a flyer about the program in your child’s Friday folder in mid-October! These items make perfect holiday gifts for family members.
We are celebrating International Dot Day at SFX! Dot Day is a "holiday" inspired by The Dot , a book about creativity and “making your mark”, by Peter Reynolds. All classes enjoyed reading the book in art class, and we are busy making our own “dot art” to display in the gym! Dot Day will be celebrated on both September 30th and October 1st! If your child wears dots accessories to art class, he/she will receive a little prize from Ms. Angeley! Students can wear socks, headbands, scarves, and ties, with their uniforms that day, but they still must comply with uniform regulations
Grades 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7 wear dots on Monday, 9/30.
Grades PK, K, 3, 4, and 8 wear dots on Tuesday 10/1.
Mrs. Angeley is back, and ready to begin an amazing year of creating art! The following items are needed in order for our students to begin their artistic endeavors!
