Deadline for Filing ARPA Payment Request Form with DOR is Friday, June 18
According to the Department of Revenue (DOR), as of yesterday, less than half of the non-entitlement communities in the state had electronically filed Form SL-330: Coronavirus Local Recovery Funds Request. This is the form municipalities with a population under 50,000 (non-entitlement units of government (NEUs)) must electronically file (e-file) with DOR to request American Rescue Plan Act – Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (LFRF).
The deadline to request your ARPA funds is Friday, June 18, 2021 – make sure to apply for the funds today!
Every Wisconsin municipality was allocated funds. Wisconsin municipalities have until December 31, 2024, to obligate these ARPA funds, and December 31, 2026, to complete projects.
Municipalities do not need to have a plan in place for how to spend their ARPA payment before filing the Form SL-330. Plans for how to spend the money can be made over the next year.
