Neverland announces a new Kids' Broadway Revue featuring youth actors from ages 6 to 17!

Neverland will produce a fun musical revue featuring the music from Disney, Broadway, Movies, Top 40's as well as some classic music from the 20th Century.

NO AUDITIONS. Just email us for a SIGN UP FORM. You then fill it out and send it in with show fee payment..

We produce a few KIDS MUSICAL REVUES every few year and they are lots of fun. Everyone is on stage the entire show singing as an entire cast and smaller groups such as solos, duets, trios, and quartets. Wonderful experience singing and being on stage.

REHEARSALS HELD TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS beginning Tuesday, July 30

We will add two Wednesday Rehearsals: August 14 and 21.

TIME:5:30pm - 8:30pm.
(Younger children may leave earlier if 8:30pm is too late. We may ask older children to stay until 9pm if they like.)

Neverland raises funds solely by three means: Show fees, Ticket Sales and Concession/Ads. (There are no ads for this show.) Each cast member is responsible for the following:

We are offering discounts if you turn in show fees early.

$175 if paid by June 15

Show fees are non-refundable.

If you are an Alumni or Parent of an Alumni of Neverland Theatre and converted old shows VHS videos to DVD's, we would love to purchase one from you for our archives.

We have over 100 shows that were videotaped and have only transferred a few over.

If you converted one and would be willing to order an extra copy, let Andy Diskes know the cost and he will let you know if he has converted that one yet.

In fact it would be good for people to compare notes as to which shows that have been converted as to perhaps share them with each other.

Neverland is happy to announce it will produce a radio show version of the classic novel LES MISERABLES by Victor Hugo.

We produced an OLIVER TWIST Radio Show a few years ago successfully and are happy to give the classic story the same treatment.

We are lucky to have North Shore Actor Tony Bellerose co-direct the production as well as portray Jean Valjean.

We are looking for 20 Adults and Teens of all levels of experience who would like to sign up to be in the cast. We will take the talent that we have then assign roles once rehearsals begin .Several key roles we may assign before rehearsals begin. There will be lots of opportunities for people who can speak with different voices / accents. Some people will portray several smaller roles as there are many to fill.

There will not be a program book for this production.

TICKETS:
There is no requirement to purchase tickets but we hope that each cast member will be able to bring 10 people to the show. The majority of our audience is made up of family/friends of cast members.

All rehearsals / final presentations will be held at Mariana's Dancing Studio in Ipswich.

The space is Air conditioned and wheelchair accessible.

Rehearsals start June 5:

Monday and Wednesday eves. 6pm - 9pm. (Younger cast can leave earlier. Leads will be asked to stay until 9:30pm. When school is over we will ask older kids to stay til 10pm if they want to.)

We will add extra rehearsals as school winds down:
Thursdays, June 13 / 20 / 27 and Tuesday, July 2

Production week starrting July 7.

Shows July 12- 14.

Most likely we will double or triple cast the Von Trapp Children. Each cast member would get minimum of three performances in their featured role. Then they would perform in the other performances as another role such as a nun or towns person.

We have moved our Frozen show to our next season.

Neverland will hold a fun week of theater activities that will stress which will include working on acting scenes from some of your favorite plays and musicals. We also will work on creating your own lskits using fun props and puppets. Theater games are included also!

Our goal is for our campers to have fun while building confidence, stretching their imagination, improving reading and acting skills and feeling more comfortable with self-expression.

Theater Camp run by Andrew Diskes. There will be one assistant to be determined assisting.
