Ambrosia Apples
Ambrosia means “Food of the gods” and this delicately sweet apple is quite the treat. Ambrosia apples were discovered in 1987 as a chance seedling growing on the Mennell family’s orchard in Cawston, British Columbia, Canada. Because it just appeared growing in nature, the apple’s parentage is unknown. Ambrosia apples don't brown quickly after being sliced, making them perfect for snacks or salads.
