"It may be necessary to encounter the defeats so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.” — Maya Angelou

December 2020 Newsletter
2020, what can we say?

What has 2020 meant to us? Clearly there's a lot of distressing and heartbreaking losses of all kinds.

And yet, here we are.

We think about those losses frequently, and yet there has been some incredible and life changing positive things to come out of this year. Let us tell you what we've seen here at the clinic. . . .

REASSURANCE in the community we live in. Everyone came together to offer help, understanding, and patience to each other.

COMFORT offered at every turn with food shared, masks lovingly made for strangers, and heartfelt notes.

GENEROSITY through donations given to the clinic for access to care for our patients and the many new patients we welcomed.

PERSERVERANCE in our Pink Door volunteers who reopened our thrift store, our staff who pivoted so smoothly to keep the clinic open every day, and the community groups making sure we had the supplies we needed.

HOPE seen in the faces around us smiling under the most pressing of issues, heard in the voices of encouragement from our supporters, and felt in the immense gratitude from our patients every day, every visit.

Thank you for your role in the above. We could not be positive without you!
We wish you a happy holiday season!
