God’s Good News Is All Around Us

Dear Friends,

The Lenten season has begun. How are you feeling in your spiritual journey?

the words "Tell me something good" in light green on a dark green background with purple accents

In worship we’re talking about getting grounded in the basics of God’s good news. Good news? What a contrast to the rest of “the news” that we are seeing from all around us!

As we renew our faith this season, I hope you feel surrounded by the good news that’s offered to you. Come to worship and hear a word of encouragement. Join in our visioning discussions or our community meals to hear about hope and kindness from others, and to share your own passion and generosity. Follow along with the daily meditations shared through our social media accounts

Wherever you find yourself this season, we want to be a community where you can show up as you are, be honest about your life, and experience support and connection with good folks.

Blessed to be in community with you,

Hardy

P.S. Everyone is encouraged to give your input at tonight’s Vision Summit — please come even if you haven’t RSVP’d!

Families interested in Parents’ Night Out (PNO), a babysitting coop, are invited to an open house/pizza party tomorrow to meet other families and learn about this program.

PNO will be held on Saturdays, 4:30–7:30 pm from mid-March through April. Alongside volunteers, parents work one session and then can drop off their children for the other sessions for a night out. This is a great way to get to know other adults and children in the church. Contact Debbie Shaver to RSVP for the pizza party or for more information.
