~ In Harmony with Divine Spirit We Stand ~
Having just completed 5 Sundays exploring the intersection of Unity's Statement of Social Action + Unity 5 Principles, we pause before continuing the series with this special service:

Talk About Gratitude!
prepared by Mavis Gloeckler

This week a special service of music and readings that reflect gratitude as it expresses through 4 aspects of our lives -- personal growth, relationships, health and environment.

Four congregants - Brian, Glenn, Joyce and Lise - will each talk about one of those 4 life aspects, and read the Expressions of Gratitude contributions that have been submitted by our Unity Victoria community members.

Make this Sunday a special time for yourself to reflect on the many blessings in your life - remembering that what we focus on grows stronger!

A note from Pat Clarkson as a follow-up to her talk last Sunday...

Dear Unity Victoria Friends --

Last Sunday, I shared the following question that was asked at the Practicing the Principles in Uncertain Times Seminar.

“What would Charles Fillmore, Unity’s Co-founder and Eric Butterworth, renowned Unity Minister, do if they were here?”

Rev. Michael Gott shared that he believed there is no doubt, Charles Fillmore was chosen to receive a message. Both people did what was required of them in their time. They are a solid foundation for us to stand on.

Yet this is now, it is our turn. We are paving the way for others coming.

I would like to share a Krishna Das prayer that speaks to those that went before us and what we can do in gratitude for their walk.

“If we know anything about a path at all, its only because of the Great Ones that have gone before us. Out of their love and kindness they have left some footprints for us to follow. So, in the same way that they wish for us, we wish that all Beings everywhere, including ourselves, be safe, be happy, have good health and enough to eat. And may we all live at ease of heart with whatever comes to us in life.”
Om Shanti Shanti (peace peace)

May we all leave footprints of love and kindness for the others coming after us.
Blessings,
Pat

An update from Our Place: "Donations of sleeping bags and blankets and warm coats and boots, toques and socks, especially men’s things, are greatly needed. With fewer shelter spaces available because of COVID space restrictions, the number of people forced to shelter outside has increased dramatically this year. Many people we see are facing lack of shelter for the first time, particularly older adults. All are vulnerable in cold, wet and inclement weather. Donations may be dropped off at 919 Pandora in Victoria from 6:30am-9:00pm, seven days a week. Thank you from all of us at Our Place."
Together we affirm: “Divine Love, through me, blesses and multiplies all that I AM, all that I have, all that I give and all that I receive.”
And together we say, AND SO IT IS!
