The Hope of Easter

Dear Kris,

As we journey through Holy Week, we remember Christ’s path of love, sacrifice, and hope. Join us on Palm Sunday at 10 am as we enter Christ’s story together. Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services will be held at 7 pm, drawing us deeper into Jesus’s love, Judas’s betrayal, and Christ’s death on the cross. Easter Sunday, we gather at 6:30 am for sunrise service at Shoreline Park in Mountain View, followed by a bright traditional service here at church at 10 am! Come with open hearts as we walk through the drama of the story and the importance of remembering the Easter promise — that God’s love and impact on this world can never be snuffed out.

With faith and good Christian hope,

Pastor Annanda

Hike in Wunderlich County Park

Tomorrow! Saturday, April 12 • 9 am • RSVP

Join us for a 5-mile loop hike in Wunderlich County Park. This is a beautiful gradual hike up to an open meadow where we can listen to birds or watch deer and gophers. From that point, it’s a gradual downhill.

Due to tight parking, we’ll meet at 9 am at the nearby Woodside Elementary School, then shuttle to the park. Please RSVP so we know to look for you and know whom to contact if needed.

Add to the Easter Flower Cross

Sunday, April 20

You are cordially invited and encouraged to participate in a Sunnyvale Pres tradition on Easter Sunday! For a number of years we have transformed the symbol of Christ’s death — the cross — into a blaze of glory with beautiful flowers. Feel free to bring blooms from your garden or use the flowers provided. Then gather your family and friends for a portrait in front of the transformed cross.
