News from Pastor Karin

Dear Friends,

There’s so much going on this summer!

Soon you’ll be hearing more about plans to make the patio outside of the Coleman Room more welcoming and usable. Personally, I’m very much looking forward to that!

Session also approved some permanent umbrella structures to add shade to Trinity Court; we’re awaiting final approval by the city to get those into place. It’ll provide more spaces out of the sun to enjoy chatting with folks on Sundays and throughout the week.

We also continue to be grateful for the leadership of members of our queer community in worship and are glad that at Sunnyvale Pres, Pride isn’t just for June — it’s all the time. Last night some of our community attended Sunnyvale Pride downtown. We’re so grateful to be able to support efforts to make our larger community increasingly affirming.

Enjoy the weather in the days ahead and, as always, stay safe!

Peace,
Karin

Welcome to Rich Pak
Director of Youth Ministry

We’re pleased to announce Rev. Rich Pak is officially our Director of Youth Ministry! (He’s been interim director since December.) We appreciate his spirit of collaboration and his expansive approach to ministry — connecting youth to God and one another, as well as connecting families.

You’ve heard him preach a couple times and will enjoy his message this Sunday. When you see Rich, take a moment to get to know him — you’ll be glad you did!
