ONE-MINUTE WORD
#ComePrinceofPeaceandChangeUs
IN WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY
Unrehearsed Christmas Pageant

We retell the story of Jesus’ birth and of a God who wants to be with us and will do whatever it takes to reach us. You are invited to remember and to participate – once again – in the story of a God who is always and forever finding new ways of slipping into our world.

Join us for a virtual Pageant complete with all the players, all the parts, all the Carols, and the joy of Jesus' arrival in our midst.

PRAYERS OF OUR COMMUNITY
Please Hold These Joys and Concerns in Your Prayers This Week
For Christmas Movies and the joy they bring us as individuals and as groups of loved ones during the holidays

For the U.S. electoral process

For our faith communities, spiritual leaders, wonderful content teams, support teams, and those of us who just enjoy showing up on Sundays - that we all have a place we are proud to belong to

For Jessica S.'s new acupressure healthcare endeavor - that it reaches the people it needs to and that they feel God's loving hand

For all those who are suffering from COVID

For the workers who are kind and gracious and those who give without having much

For Jeff S.'s uncle who has had recent health issues with his lungs

For those who strongly fight their struggle with addiction

For Rev. Wendy and Rev. Tom and all they do

For a technology that allows us to connect

For the scientists who have worked countless hours to help curb this disease and that moves are finally being made to help lower the number of cases

For the frontline staff who have sacrificed so much - that they begin to experience relief due to the vaccine

For our unrehearsed Christmas pageant and all those who have volunteered to participate

For Ben J.'s friend Lenny who has been able to come home without heart surgery

For the families of those who have been executed and that the death penalty will be ended

For Rev. Wendy's joy of celebrating 33 years of sobriety

For Larry B.'s daughter Susan on her birthday

For the graciousness that we are reminded that exists in God's healing word

For all these prayers and those that go unspoken, we pray in God's name
Amen
