IN WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY
Welcome To My Neighborhood with Brown-Skinned-Poet - Terry Carter
Join us for Thanksgiving Worship on Sunday, November 22 at 10:30 am with
Medford's own Brown-Skinned-Poet, Terry Carter brings his powerful spoken word to ARTChurch.

Carter's poetry and our celebration of neighborhood will honor the human capacity to build community despite barriers and challenges AND teach us about the ways that black, brown, and tan people have been diminished and denied access to space, land, resources, and power.

Join the discussion and poetry reading with Terry.

Please Hold These Joys and Concerns in Your Prayers This Week
For Liz W.'s family as they mourn her loss

For the joys of technology and having access to it

For Jeff S. as he heals from an accident earlier this week

For everyone to get up to date on the flu shot - and the 41 people in our community who received them

For Kathleen B.'s and her husband's 48th wedding anniversary

For Stephanie H.'s sister who will be stay in Seattle for the holiday and for the whole Hollenberg clan - as well as every family making difficult decisions this winter

For Jeff S.'s brother and family as they travel back home

For people who are living in their cars, FEMA trailers - for asylum seekers and those stuck in detention camps, that we can support these people who need help

For everyone who needs a bed and a safe space this winter

For all who are fighting COVID

For patience with ourselves and our communities as the pandemic continues

For a smooth transition of power to come

For José, Gloria, and Sandy as they recover from COVID

For Neldie M.'s parents for safe travels

For Rebecca's mother, Louise, as her ankle heals

For everyone who participated in the Thanksgiving food drive

For Aaron O.s continued healing from his recent surgery

For Ginny and Fraelean with courage, patience, and understanding as they seek some answers to health concerns

For our Hillside and Sanctuary community and leaders - that we continue to support and lift each other

For Bryce, Stephanie, and Luke, our music leaders and the beautiful music we are able to share every week

For the understanding and caution that God is able to provide

For all these prayers and those that go unspoken, we pray in God's name
Amen
