Child & Youth Services 11:10 AM - 1:10 PM

We have a wonderful child and family team who are eager to provide services for children (ages 2-12) each Sunday. You can drop your child off and have time to attend the meditation before the Sunday service. We are not equipped to provide infant services at this time, but we will happily find a quiet space for little ones and their caregiver.

NEW!

Message from Rev. Cath

Dear Beloveds,

Thank you for a very special weekend together!

Special thanks to our actors for the skit on Sunday, Lisa Firestone and Jacqueline Carrillo for their fine acting and willingness to do something that supports us in sharpening our conscious communication skills. Great job! Here’s hoping we will see them again in another role!

Thank you, beautiful community, for having the courage to look at conflict in a different way through their skit and to face our “sacred cows” in our dialogue afterwards.

I feel the need to explain that “sacred cows” are not necessarily bad. Mostly, it is because we have done them over and over through the years. We have become so attached things being a certain way that we have leave no room for Spirit to bring in something new and novel for us to enjoy.

We are living and immersed in a field of infinite possibilities. Creating an opening or a space for Spirit to play with us, as us, in new ways, takes us to new heights of experience and expression. That’s the kind of thing that fuels us and makes us happy. In reality, as infinite beings, that is what we crave. The world would be a sweeter and place if we found our “happy place” and lived from our future divine potential.

We are well on our way! I love you! Keep up the good work!

Joy and Blessings,

Rev. Cath

Spiritual Mind Treatment

Dale Rogers, RScP

I’m taking a moment to relax.

settling into my body… my feelings.

I’m aware of my breath, of its rhythm.

.. of my thoughts, of their rhythm.

I’m aware of them, watching them, being with them without judgment.

That part of me that is witnessing… is Spirit.

What do I know?

I know there is one presence, one infinite intelligence,

one thing… experiencing.

Nothing exists outside this wholeness,

for it is the source and substance of everything.

In this realization, I know that I am it.

Not all of it, but an essential part of it.

If I wasn’t essential, I would not exist.

I know that my beliefs, my thoughts, and feelings, are creating a ripple

in this thinking stuff. So, I am only thinking about the good that is mine. I know that my conditions are temporary, a brief moment in a constantly changing river. I am not focusing on the river, because in a moment it will change.

Thank you, Universe. Thank you for the good that is mine, now.

I know my words are true, and I release them into the law of mind,

knowing that they are done.

And so, it is.

CARING HEARTS

Caring Hearts' Mission is to support CSLN members with compassionate visits, phone calls, and essential community services during times of need. More information regarding the Caring Hearts can be found on our website.

Food Gift Boxes Available

Some of our members have been seriously affected by rising food prices. To assist, the Caring Hearts would like to discreetly provide a food gift box to anyone who may be having difficulty with these increased costs. If you'd like to contribute, a donation basket can be found in the lobby before the service to accept non-perishable items, cash, or grocery gift cards (which can also be placed in the donation basket). If you could use support right now, please reach out to Erica Leeds at caringhearts@cslnashville.org. We’re here for you.

Requesting Gift Cards

Caring Hearts is now asking for food gift cards as well as any additional gift cards that you are ready to pay forward to others in our community. Easy options are placing them in the Sunday collection baskets at the end of service each week or in the basket in the lobby that will be by the front door where we are collecting non perishable food during service only. For additional information, please contact Caring Hearts team members.
