8 New Mini Courses for Applying for Graduate School and Summer Research Experiences

Summer break is here, and with it comes graduate school applications and summer research programs. It’s easy to become overwhelmed with all of the steps you need to follow to submit a successful application, and you might be wondering, “How do I ask my professors for letters of recommendation?" or “Just what can I do to prepare for the GRE?”

We hear you and are here to help. Our new series of eight mini courses, “Applying for Graduate School and Summer Research Experiences" is intended to provide students from historically underrepresented groups the training, support, and resources necessary to successfully apply to Ph.D. programs in health-related research fields.

Students can enroll in any or all of the following short courses, each designed to take an hour or less:

  • The Graduate School Application Process
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Letters of Recommendation
  • GRE Preparation and Expectations
  • Seeking Financial Support for Graduate Schools
  • How to Interview Successfully for Graduate School
  • Individual Development Plan (IDP)
  • Summer Research Experience

Ready to take the next step to submitting a successful application? Check out all our courses here.
