Connect With Pacifica This Week
Greetings!

While there is a long list of fun and engaging events (highlighted below) that are upcoming as we roll into summertime, please take note of the five community engagement meetings scheduled for the City’s “Plan Pacifica” effort, which includes the General Plan and Local Coastal Program updates and development of a Specific Plan for the Sharp Park neighborhood. These Plans are tools for shaping the evolution of Pacifica so it best serves and delights its residents. We need your input to make these plans the best they can be!

The first of these meetings will occur next Thursday evening, June 27, 6:00 pm at the Community Center at 540 Crespi Drive. Dinner will be provided. You are encouraged to RSVP so we can best plan the meeting. The project site at planpacifica.org provides information about each project, including ways to participate, project documents and City contacts. I encourage you to participate and help shape the future of Pacifica.

As always, go safely this week and please let me know if you have comments or questions, and  thank you for wanting to  Connect with Pacifica!

Sincerely,
KEVIN WOODHOUSE
City Manager

San Mateo County Transit Authority Survey
San Mateo County Transportation Authority is asking for YOUR INPUT on how to allocate funding. Help frame transportation funding in Pacifica for the coming years by taking this survey!

In 2018, voters approved Measure W, a half-cent sales tax for transportation in San Mateo County. San Mateo County Transportation Authority will manage fifty percent of the measure. Currently, the agency is determining how to best evaluate projects so that those of greatest merit are priorities for future funding. You can learn more about the project here. The survey closes June 30.
