Another round of small business relief grants, specific to restaurants, breweries, and wineries, is launching soon in San Mateo County, the Restaurant, Brewery, and Winery Grant Program. This program will provide $10,000 grants to qualifying businesses. Spread the word to your favorite restaurant in Pacifica and encourage them to explore this relief option so we can keep as many restaurants as possible open and thriving in Pacifica!

On that note, Sharp Park Merchants are hosting Saturday, Feb. 13, Valentine’s Saturday deals/festivities between 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., so get out there and show them your love. For that matter, get out and show businesses all over Pacifica your love! They need it, as do we all, as we continue to work together through this continuing pandemic.

At the December 16, 2020 meeting, the PB&R Commission approved staff recommendations, which included the creation of a new task force. The newly formed Surf Camp/School Policy Advisory Task Force is to make recommended changes to the Surf Camp/School policy in order to create a Community Access Partner Permit (CAPP) program as well as address overall policy considerations (currently being piloted).
