Greetings!
Coming up on Thursday evening 6:00 p.m., September 24, the City is launching community input for the Beach Boulevard Infrastructure Resiliency Project with a virtual community workshop. Please attend this online workshop to learn and ask questions about this critical project. If you haven’t completed your Census 2020 yet, please do, and please spread the word about the importance of everyone doing so. At an 82.4% response rate, we are the 4th best in the County, but we can do better! The Census is critical to bringing federal funding to our City. Finally, as the air clears of smoke, but before more new fires impact California, please take a moment to sign up for SMC Alert in order to receive important emergency notifications to your mobile device. Note that you can customize this service to receive notifications about certain areas only.
Please let us know if you have comments or questions, and thank you for wanting to Connect with Pacifica.
Sincerely,
KEVIN WOODHOUSE
City Manager
