The final City Council meeting of the year is next Monday, December 14, and is the official reorganization meeting during which outgoing Mayor/Councilmember Deirdre Martin will be honored, re-elected Councilmember Sue Vaterlaus will be seated for her second four-year term, and incoming new Councilmember Tygarjas Twyrls Bigstyck will be seated. 2020 has certainly been a challenge, but I know the City Council, I and the entire City organization are looking to the future and the many important and exciting projects, programs, and services underway and upcoming.
Please stay safe during this challenging Coronavirus time, support your local businesses and restaurants, and perhaps pause here and there to appreciate someone or something during this holiday season.
Sincerely,
KEVIN WOODHOUSE
City Manager
